1. Overview and Commitment

Sylense (sylense.in) prioritizes developer privacy, data confidentiality, and minimal data collection. We collect only the information necessary to authenticate your account, provision your managed PostgreSQL database clusters, process billing transactions, and provide 24/7 technical support.

2. Information We Collect

We collect and process the following categories of information:

• Account Identification: Email address, name, and encrypted password authentication handled securely through Supabase Auth.
• Billing Records: Name, billing address, and transaction identifiers. We do NOT store credit card numbers, debit card details, or UPI PINs on our servers.
• Technical Database Metadata: Database configuration choices, cluster identifiers, assigned connection ports, and backup schedules necessary for operating your PostgreSQL database environment.
• Operational Logs: Connection metadata, IP addresses for DDoS filtering, and diagnostic logs to ensure database uptime across India datacenters.

3. Payment Processing and Security

All electronic transactions are routed directly through our PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway partner, Razorpay. Razorpay processes credit cards, debit cards, NetBanking, and UPI payments under bank-grade encryption (TLS 1.3 / AES-256). Sylense never has direct access to your financial credentials.

4. Data Storage and Protection

User accounts, authentication tokens, and infrastructure configurations are stored within secured PostgreSQL databases with strict row-level security (RLS). Database clusters operate inside isolated compute environments to ensure that databases, query logs, and snapshot files remain completely inaccessible to other tenants.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We partner with infrastructure and service providers including Cloudflare (CDN, Edge WAF, and DDoS filtering), Razorpay (payment processing), and Supabase (authentication and metadata storage). Each partner adheres to strict enterprise security standards.
